How To Get Rock Hard Body Abs

One thing both men and women want is nice abs. The abdominals seem to be the hardest goal to achieve. A common question many people want to know is how to get washboard abs. The good thing is that we all have them, but in many cases they are covered by body fat. So how do we get rid of the fat and get the body abs everyone so desires.

When working on abdominals, probably the key factor is drinking water. How much water someone needs to drink depends on their weight. If you weight more, you must drink more. Drinking water will make someone feel full and this will prevent them from eating so much, thus losing some body fat. Drinking water will also wash out any excess water you have in your body.

Drinking water is probably the easiest part of losing body fat. Other factors may require more dedication on a person's part. If you want to see your body abs, you must get rid of your total body fat. Calculate how much body fat you need to lose and for every pound of fat you need to lose, you must burn an extra 3,500 calories more than you eat. It may be easier to start off burning 500 calories more and work your way up.

There is no way around it; you do have to exercise to lose weight. When burning fat, aerobics exercise is suggested, one hour per day would be fine. Again, if one hour is too much, start with 20 to 30 minutes and go from there. The goal is to keep your heart rate steady. There is a formula for individuals to calculate where your heart rate should be at when exercising.

Watching what you eat is another factor when working on your abs. Stay away from complex carbohydrates such as rice, pasta and bread for the last meal of the day. Eat those for breakfast and lunch, this way you have all day to burn off those calories. Working hard everyday using these guidelines will bring you to your goal of having rock hard body abs in no time.
